Mesut Ozil does not want to move to the States despite his representatives meeting with DC United.

Last week, it was reported by the reliable Steven Goff that Mesut Ozil’s reps were set to meet with DC United to discuss a move to the MLS for the German. DC United want to replace Wayne Rooney and see Ozil as just the type of marquee signing who would do that.
Given the problems off-the-field at the minute for Ozil and Kolasinac, with the pair under armed guard because they are being used as pawns by some rival gangs in a turf war, it was easy to think that Ozil might be tempted to pack it all in and head off to Washington.
Thankfully, he has no intention of doing that.

There are still claims that Arsenal are willing to let Ozil go to remove his £350kpw wages from the books.
Still only 30, Ozil has another two years left on his current Arsenal deal. Raul Sanllehi as previously stated that players will either be renewed when they get to the final two years on their contracts or sold.
