Leeds United are battling Bristol City and Fortuna Dusseldorf for Eddie Nketiah’s signature this summer on loan and have moved more towards the Arsenal man in the last 24 hours.

It had looked like Eddie Nketiah would be off to Bristol City with Leeds likely to land Ryan Kent from Liverpool. Now, Phil Hay believes Leeds are focusing more on landing the prolific Arsenal 20-year-old.
So, key 48 hours coming up. Leeds and Orta done a lot of work on Eddie Nketiah today. Bristol City and Fortuna Düsseldorf making plays of their own for him. Wouldn’t discount Ryan Kent completely but more focus on Nketiah now. @TheAthleticUK #lufc

That being said, the Daily Record claim that Leeds have opened talks with Liverpool over the signing of Kent so it’s clear they’re moving on two fronts at present and keeping all options open.
Unai Emery had said he was planning on keeping Nketiah at the club, a decision that excited Arsenal fans everywhere but it certainly looks as if he’s on his way somewhere on loan this summer.
Now valued at around £7.2m, Nketiah has scored 28 goals, with seven assists, in 38 games for the u23s. He has three goals in 19 appearances (458 minutes) for the first team, with two goals in two games (just 60 minutes) in the EFL Cup.
In the UEFA Youth League with the u19s, he scored three, with an assist, in four games.
For the u18s, he scored 15, with three assists, in 16 games.
