Eddie Nketiah is a wanted man and while he is said to be close to a move to Bristol City, Leeds United are interested in signing him along with ‘dozens’ of other clubs according to LeedsLive.

For a few short weeks over the summer, it seemed like Eddie Nketiah would stay with the first team.

Now, the closer we get to the transfer window deadline, the more excited I am about him going out on loan and getting to watch him (hopefully) play week in, week out, something he wouldn’t get to do at Arsenal in the new season.

Bristol City are said to be closest to landing the prolific 20-year-old who has admitted he’s more than ready for the Arsenal first team but Leeds see him as a viable option if they aren’t able to agree a deal with Liverpool for Ryan Kent on what looks to be a permanent deal.

Nketiah scores whenever he plays. Now valued at around £7.2m, the 20-year-old has scored 28 goals, with seven assists, in 38 games for the u23s.

He has three goals in 19 appearances (458 minutes) for the Arsenal first team, with two goals in two games (just 60 minutes) in the EFL Cup.

In the UEFA Youth League with the u19s, he scored three, with an assist, in four games.

For the u18s, he scored 15, with three assists, in 16 games.

Whoever ends up landing him will have a real gem on their hands in a player determined to prove he has what it takes.
