Despite their unseeded status, Arsenal Women have been handed a good Champions League draw. They will meet the Italian side Fiorentina in the Round of 32 next month.

There were some really tough potential opponents, and the Serie A runner-ups are not likely to be as tough as Lyon or Wolfsburg, for example.

They have some well-known players like the recently-signed Australian veteran Lisa De Vanna. French defender Laura Agard is also there as well as Italian stalwarts like Alice Parisi or Ilaria Mauro and the Scottish striker Lana Clelland.

The home game will be played at Borehamwood on the 11/12 September and the away game 25/26 September.

Juventus v Barcelona, Goteborg v Bayern and Pitea v Brondby will be three interesting ties to follow.

Manchester City have drawn Lugano of Switzerland and should go through, but we know what happened last year when they lost in the first round to Athletico Madrid.
