The saga, which first started in 2016, looks like it will now conclude on deadline day with the 22-year-old becoming an Arsenal player.

He is expected to sign a five-year deal worth £75kpw and Arsenal will pay £25m for him.

Tierney is currently injured after a double-hernia operation in May. Although there were reports that he would be out for up to another eight wees, Neil Lennon rubbished those claims and said he would be back in training in 1-2.

With Arsenal also looking like they are about to land a centreback in David Luiz you have to admit, this window has delivered more than we ever could have expected.
