A true Arsenal lad who came up through the Academy he joined way back in 2004 his departure will be a hard pill for many to swallow who feel he wasn’t developed/handled properly once he broke through to the first team initially.

The 23-year-old has played a total of 149 times for Arsenal with 15 goals and 27 assists since his debut in 2014.

We are still waiting for official confirmation but David Ornstein is the next best thing as you know when it comes to Arsenal.

Good luck, Alex, you’ll be missed!
