Over the weekend, I decided to ask Arsenal fans who the worst footballing person would be to be stuck in a lift with and there was one clear winner.

There is sometimes no rhyme or reason as to why we dislike someone. In other cases, it’s painfully obvious why the rest of the world thinks they’re an arse.

I didn’t run a poll. I simply asked people to name the one person who they’d hate to be stuck in a lift with and made no suggestions to help sway people’s thinking. The only rule was that it had to be a footballing person, leaving the playing field wide open.

In total, Daily Cannon Twitter followers came up with 73 names before I started this post (once I ruled out entire fanbases and residents of certain cities). Just slightly more than 50% of names got more than one mention.
