Arsenal faced Colorado Rapids in the early hours of Tuesday morning and, while they won comfortably 3-0, the sight of the beautiful new Adidas home shirt emblazoned with yellow names and numbers was just awful.
I mean seriously, the kit was perfect. Arsenal’s home colours are red and white, why on earth would you opt for yellow?
What is this fuckery? Why are the names and numbers yellow? pic.twitter.com/PxVC9Txhuw

The yellow name and number on the back of the Arsenal shirt is horrible

The good news is it seems this combination will only be used for pre-season which is borderline acceptable because I was about to go a little bit nuts over it. I do like to worry about the important things, you know?
It's just for preseason, the shops sell the home kit with white letters and numbering

It is temp. EPL have rules where all teams r same font and white (unless kit is white)

Arsenal released their away kit today and many think the yellow name and numbers were a nod to that.
It is expected that the yellow away kit will feature blue names and numbers in a nod to the third kit.
