Cohen Brammal is currently on trial with AFC Wimbledon after being released by Arsenal following what he feels was an unfair shake.
The former Arsenal youngster, who was a surprise signing by Arsene Wenger, joined the club a few days ago on trial and featured in their squad against Wexford on Saturday even though his deal with Arsenal didn’t officially expire until Sunday.

Bramall had a solid half, creating a chance or two down the left-hand side before he and the rest of the team were replaced by 11 subs for the second half at 0-0. It remains to be seen if he’s done enough to impress the coaches at his potential new club.
Shortly after being released, Bramall revealed he was gutted to be let go by Arsenal, blaming the departure of Arsene Wenger and Unai Emery’s refusal to even speak to him.
“When Arsene left it changed the whole thing for me, I’m gutted that he left,” Bramall reportedly said.
“When Unai came in I was hoping to train across with the first-team but I didn’t really get that opportunity.
“I didn’t have a conversation with Unai at all. That’s the thing. I didn’t have a conversation with him once.
“It was probably difficult for him because I’m guessing he was told I didn’t have the best of loans at Birmingham, so he just binned me off.
“And when I did get told to go over there and train, it was at the last minute. That’s the thing that upset me a bit because I didn’t get the chance to show Unai what I could do, like I did with Arsene.
“The last three months I worked really hard to see if anything would change, but nothing did. So I knew it was coming. I already accepted it when Arsene went.”
Billed as ‘faster than Hector Bellerin,’ it would be good to see the defender starting again in the lower leagues. He was never going to get a proper run in the team with Arsenal, so it’s hard to say exactly how high he can go if he does play more regularly.
Bramall previously spent time on loan in the Championship with Birmingham in 2017/18, but a couple of injuries and a change in manager leaving him out of favour meant he only managed eight matches all season. League One should offer him more opportunities.
