Di Marzio posted the above pictures on their website on Thursday, showing Pepe’s agent Sam Khiat and ‘two of his collaborators’ landing in Dimaro by helicopter.

According to the Italian outlet, Khiat is there to meet Napoli executives to begin a negotiation for his transfer. The agent is demanding €5m commission as part of the deal, and wages of €5m for his client as well.

Algerian attacking midfielder Adam Ounas is set to be part of any deal, moving from Napoli to Lille as part of a player plus cash transfer.

As we’ve reported on before, the French media have been strongly pushing an Arsenal bid for Pepe, with the likes of TF1, L’Equipe and Sport all claiming they’ve offered €80m.

The English media – including the BBC’s David Ornstein, Goal’s Charles Watts and Football.London’s James Benge – have roundly denied the story. This latest link to Napoli just casts further doubt on the reports.
