A Tottenam fan tried to troll Mesut Ozil but all he did was open the door for Ozil to troll the whole of Tottenham.

It’s no secret that Mesut Ozil had an awful season last time out. Coming off the back of a tumultuous summer that saw almost all of Germany turn against him while he battled racist abuse, it’s perhaps no surprise that his football suffered.

One Tottenham fan saw the chance to make the point that Ozil went missing last season when he came across an odd Tottenham photo.

For the record, Mesut Ozil has played Tottenham 10 times. He’s lost just three of those games, scoring one and assisting four.

Christian Eriksen, whom every Spurs fan will tell you is miles better than Ozil, has never scored against Arsenal in 14 attempts and has just one assist.
