Arsenal have not returned with a second bid for Kieran Tierney as Neil Lennon admits things are ‘as you were’.

According to reports over the weekend, Arsenal have turned to an old transfer target in Ricardo Rodriguez as they’ve been put off by Celtic’s £25m price tag for Tierney.

That’s strange given he’s always been priced at £25m so it’s more likely Arsenal have realised they can’t get Celtic to shift on their valuation.

Admitting things are ‘as you were’ in regards to Arsenal and their £15m bid that was rejected.

Tierney is still recovering following a double hernia operation in May and Lennon added, “I spoke to Kieran in Austria (training camp) and to be honest I haven’t really seen much of him because he came back early for rehab, so has not been on the training ground as yet.”
