Kicker (via Goal) claim Hertha BSC have four players on their summer wishlist, including two attacking candidates. One of those is Arsenal’s Reiss Nelson.

Nelson caught Hertha’s eye during his loan spell with Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga last season. The winger actually scored his final goal of the campaign against Hertha in mid-April, so they know exactly what he can do at his best.

As Goal point out, Nelson isn’t exactly going to be cheap. The 19-year-old already has over a year’s worth of experience in Europe’s top-five leagues, scoring seven senior goals and getting a chance to push into Arsenal’s first-team during pre-season.

The winger also signed a new contract until 2022 before going on loan to Hoffenheim, so Arsenal are under no pressure to sell.

Perhaps the club would consider another loan if they had the chance to bring in a more experienced winger for the time being. There are no wingers close to joining and no word on whether Hertha would even be interested in a loan though.
