Celtic are reportedly ready to let Kieran Tierney join Arsenal as long as the Gunners pay a larger proportion of his £25m transfer fee up front.

This latest report in the Daily Mail claims that the player is also keen to play in the Premier League.

Arsenal have already had two bids for the player turned down. The first did not meet Celtic’s valuation while the second was said to have had too much loaded into add-ons and bonuses.

The Daily Mail report on Wednesday that Arsenal’s second bid was actually £5m short of the £25m that Celtic want so it seems there isn’t 100% agreement in the media about what went on there.

What is clear is that Arsenal want Tierney and, if this latest report is to be believed, the 22-year-old also wants a move.

Being a life-long Celtic lad, however, he is unlikely to make any noise to push the move though and Arsenal are just going to have to cough up what is a pretty reasonable request from Celtic in this transfer window.
