With the new season fast approaching, Arsenal are running out of time to get any new signings in before deadline day. Pre-season is well underway, with Fiorentina up next, and you can check out some betting offers here to put money on the match.

One player who is being strongly linked with an Arsenal move back in his home country is Everton Soares. UOL report that there have been no official offers for Everton just yet, but an offer is expected in the coming days.

The player’s agent is pushing for a move to an English club, with Edu Gaspar’s appointment at Arsenal making that the most likely Premier League side to move for him.

Meanwhile, Globoesporte claim Arsenal are preparing an offer of €40m for the winger. The proposal will be formalised this week to open negotiations with Gremio.

There’s a sense that the rumours are just going around in circles at the moment though. Globoesporte reference a report from Marca in their piece, whilst Marca reference reports in the English media, most of which link back to Brazil.

Until we get something a little more concrete, these are all still just rumours and paper talk.
