Arsenal have set a date for William Saliba’s medical with the club, after agreeing everything else with St. Etienne, according to reports in France.

RMC reporter Mohamed Bouhafsi, who has been on top of this story since the start, claims Saliba’s medical with Arsenal will take place on Tuesday. Bouhafsi adds ‘everything is now finalised’ between the two clubs for a move.

The Telegraph’s Sam Dean confirms the same information, that everything has been agreed as of this afternoon and there’s only a medical to go.

This is further to the St. Etienne president publically stating that everything is on track for the transfer, adding that Saliba will remain with the club on loan for the season.

Earlier reports suggested Tottenham Hotspur actually made a larger offer for the player, but Saliba preferred to join Arsenal instead.

It seems we’ll only have to wait a few more days now until the transfer is finally complete and announced.
