Arsenal have handed professional contracts to three youngsters – Ben Cottrell, Joel Lopez, and James Hillson who arrived on loan from Reading and has now signed a permanent deal making him our second signing of the summer.

Ben Cottrell is a 17-year-old attacking midfielder who was an integral part of the u18s title win with five goals and three assists in 21 appearances.

James Hillson is an 18-year-old goalkeeper who only joined the club, from Reading, back in February on loan. He has now completed his free transfer to Arsenal.

Joel Lopez is a 17-year-old left back poached from Barcelona last summer and who played 10 u18 Premier League matches last season, scoring one.
