Arsenal are reportedly confident of sealing yet another deal, this time for Kieran Tierney, although they have yet to submit a third bid.

Arsenal have had two offers rejected by Celtic. The second totalled £25m but too much was stacked in add-ons. Arsenal, it seems, have went away, had a think about what they want to do and have come back with a proposal that Celtic may not reject out of hand.

At least that’s the latest version of the story:

On Thursday night, it was reported that Arsenal had re-opened negotiations with Celtic for the defender.

Celtic have been clear throughout this whole saga – pay £25m or bugger off. That’s fair enough, Tierney is a Celtic lad so isn’t pushing for a move and in today’s market, £25m isn’t a huge ask for a talented youngster.

With Arsenal seemingly pulling money out of their arse to land Nicolas Pepe, who knows what they plan to do in regards to Kieran Tierney, but I wouldn’t rule them out of anything at this point and that’s much more exciting that the £40m nonsense we’ve been dealing with all summer.
