Osei-Tutu completed his move to Bochum on June 25th, nine days ago, but he’s wasted no time getting involved in pre-season.

The right-back made his debut from the bench on Saturday, in an 8-1 win over FC Altenbochum. He capped off the day with a debut goal, playing 45 minutes in total.

Osei-Tutu then got his first start on Tuesday, against Concordia Wiemelhausen. He was involved in setting up the third goal as his side raced into a 4-1 lead, before he was subbed off after 57 minutes. The match finished 6-3.

Finally, Osei-Tutu made another substitute appearance on Wednesday, playing 45 minutes of a 15-0 win over local side Eintracht Grumme. Again, he was involved in the buildup for a couple of those goals.

It’s fair to say pre-season hasn’t really provided the Arsenal loanee with any real challenges so far, but that’s set to change.

Bochum face Swiss Super League club FC St. Gallen on Tuesday, before playing Grasshopper Club Zurich, English club Barnsley and Bundesliga side Hertha BSC before pre-season ends.

Osei-Tutu just needs to keep proving himself in those matches to nail down a starting spot in the team for the competitive games.
