Arsenal have been heavily linked with a move for Bournemouth’s Ryan Fraser who is out of contract next summer but it seems as if he will remain with the Cherries in order to move on a free next year.

Just five days ago, Fraser admitted he didn’t know where he would be playing next season. “The lads have been asking,” Fraser said after Scotland’s latest Euro 2020 qualifier. “I don’t know myself so there’s no point thinking about it, wherever I’ll be, I’ll be. I don’t know what is happening. I’m not just saying that.

“Wherever I’ll be, if it’s Bournemouth or if it’s at somebody else, then all you can do is try your best and enjoy football. If you think about anything else, I’ll probably have a bad game.”

The player, who admitted he’s aware of Arsenal’s interest then said this week, “The likelihood is I will be at Bournemouth for another year.

“And what will happen, will happen.

“That is all I can really say about it. No one has really spoken to me about it.”

In his limited appearances so far, Fraser’s record of goal contributions for Scotland has been just as impressive as his season for Bournemouth. The winger has played eight games, starting six, and has one goal and six assists in those matches.

There are some concerns about the way Fraser racks up so many assists though. He is an excellent crosser of the ball, but Arsenal don’t exactly have a strike force known for their ability in the air.
