Young Arsenal right-back Jordi Osei-Tutu has followed 2. Bundesliga side VfL Bochum 1848 on Instagram, amid rumours of a summer departure.

Osei-Tutu is reportedly on Arsenal’s list of players to loan out this summer, as the club look to find him first-team matches next season.
Football Insider reported that Brentford had opened talks over a season-long loan, but Osei-Tutu himself has hinted at an alternative destination. The 20-year-old followed VfL Bochum 1848 on Instagram on Friday:

Revier Sport report that Bochum have been ‘intensively involved’ in a move for Osei-Tutu, with talks ‘already well advanced’. It’s worth noting their story was written after Osei-Tutu’s Instagram follow, so it’s hard to prove it wasn’t just based on that.
According to the aforementioned Football Insider article, Hamburg, Rennes and Strasbourg are also interested in the defender. FI claim Brentford are the keenest on a loan deal though, making them favourites with Arsenal.
The Gunners reportedly have high hopes for Osei-Tutu in the future, but they’re open to a loan move for the time being.
Osei-Tutu suffered with an injury and a three-game suspension in the first half of the season, but he returned strongly in 2019. The right-back helped the Arsenal u23s to six wins and two draws in eight games after the turn of the year, as well as five clean sheets.
