Arsenal finished last season in fifth place but, had they taken all their chances, they could have finished much higher up the table.

Arsenal were wasteful in front of goal last season but it’s not really a surprise to see them in the top four for ‘big chances’ created.

What is perhaps surprising is where Tottenham, whose football was praised in all quarters, finished – 9th, below Wolves, Bournemouth, Everton and Chelsea
