Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the player’s agent met with Torino on Monday to discuss Armando Izzo’s future after holding talks in London with Arsenal.

Torino, however, are not in the mood to sell the 27-year-old who is also wanted by Manchester United.

Izzo is under contract until 2022. He is valued at around £18m however the Italians want between €25m and €30m (£26.7m) but, ideally, they’d like to keep him for another year.

Izzo’s agent, Paolo Palermo, was reportedly in London last week for ‘advanced talks’ with Arsenal over his signing. According to La Lazio Siamo Noi, Lazio are also interested but United and Everton moved to take advantage of his agent being in England however it was the Toffees, along with Arsenal, who put in a bid.

The right-footer only signed for Torino last summer when he moved from Genoa for £8.1m.

He scored four goals, with one assist, in 37 Serie A games last season and is a full Italy international having made his debut in March against Liechtenstein.
