Alexis Claude-Maurice wants to join Arsenal, and the Gunners are preparing a new offer for the Lorient man after their last one was knocked back.

French outlet Soccerlink, formerly known as Euro United, report that the offers are multiplying for the Ligue 2 star.
Arsenal have already offered a sum of around £8m, and they’re expected to come back with more, but West Ham, Olympique Lyonnais, AS Monaco, LOSC Lille and Borussia Monchengladbach are all chasing the 21-year-old as well.
Lyon have offered €10m, but Lorient president Loic Fery rejected their bid, whilst Gladbach are close to meeting Claude-Maurice’s salary demands in negotiations with his agent.
The player himself wants to join Arsenal though. If the Gunners can’t find an agreement with Lorient, Claude-Maurice will consider a move to Gladbach at that point, but until then Unai Emery’s side is his first choice.
As well as playing out wide, Claude-Maurice can also play in attacking midfield. The young Frenchman scored 14 goals and assisted four in 36 games this season, including many efforts from long-range. You can watch all of his goals and assists below:
