Tyreece John-Jules won the top scorer award at the Slovakia Cup this week, after a couple of goals helped England u18s to finish runners up at the event.

England topped their group with wins over Russia and Mexico and a 2-2 draw with host side Slovakia, putting them into the final of the event against Spain. Despite a 1-1 draw in normal time, the Spaniard’s ended up coming out on top in the penalty shootout.

There wasn’t much the Arsenal players involved could do by the time it reached the shootout. Though Tyreece John-Jules, Vontae Daley-Campbell and Ben Cottrell all started the match, they were all subbed off before the end due to the busy schedule (with England having played the previous day).

Arsenal’s Arthur Okonkwo kept two clean sheets in two games in the group stage, but after playing the full match on Thursday he had to watch from the bench on Friday.

Despite the overall disappointment at not being able to win the tournament, the Arsenal players can be proud of their contributions, and John-Jules picked up the Top Scorer award at the end. Here are some highlights from his 238 minutes on the pitch:
