According to a report from Italy where AC Milan are interested in signing Malcom from Barcelona, Tottenham Hotspur are in pole position to land him while Arsenal are still reportedly interested.

Malcom is one of those players who seems to have been linked with Arsenal for an eternity. Given that he’s only 22-years-old, we know that’s not true, but I’ve no doubt he’ll still be linked with Arsenal when he’s 32 having never pulled on an Arsenal shirt to that point.

Milan News report that there is set to be a ‘great brawl’ for Malcom’s signature this summer as he appeals to many ‘first-rate clubs in Europe, including Borussia Dortmund, Arsenal and in Italy Milan.’

But it is Tottenham, they claim, who are in pole position for his signature.

At the end of April, it was reported that the player wants to leave Barcelona and the La Liga giants are keen to recoup what they paid for him just 10 months ago. That means he has a price tag of £36.9m.

Malcom featured in just 23 matches across all competitions, averaging around 44 minutes per game. His return was four goals and two assists with only one of those goals coming in La Liga.
