The teenager will continue her studies after attending Milton Keynes College.

Roberts captained the Arsenal Academy side after arriving from MK Dons.

Speaking in an interview with the MK College website, Roberts said before moving to Arsenal, “My journey began at MK Dons Centre of Excellence when I was 11 years old. Due to my performance in our weekly fixtures I was invited to attend a Regional Talent Camp.

“There, I was selected to further attend the England Under 15’s Camp where I received specific training to meet the demands of the game. I was at MK Dons Centre of Excellence throughout the Youth pathway and as I reached the Under 16’s I was asked to step up and join the MK Dons Ladies squad. During my time at the Centre of Excellence I  continued to attend England training and fixture Camps whilst representing my local club.

“I have just finished a very successful season with the Dons, winning the League and County Cup, and I aim to continue working hard for my upcoming season.

“Do not allow any barriers to come between you and what you enjoy. Believe in your ability, and if football is your passion, go for it!”

Roberts won’t be the only Gunner heading to the US this summer with Ava Kuyken also heading that way to join the Florida Gators.
