The Arsenal Academy Twitter account confirmed on Tuesday morning that both Willock and Nketiah have been named in the England u20 squad for the 2019 Toulon Tournament. England have been very successful at the event in recent years, so they’ll be looking to win it for the fourth time in a row.

The first match is on Saturday 1st June, against Japan, though whether Willock and Nketiah will make it back from Baku in time to feature remains to be seen, as that’s just three days after the Europa League final on Wednesday.

The pair should be available by the time England face Portugal on the 4th and Chile on the 7th to complete the group stage though. After that, the three group winners and the best-performing second-placed side face off in a semi-final and final to decide the overall champion.

Even if England aren’t involved in the semi-final play-offs, they’ll still have another placement match before the tournament ends. The action will all be over by June 15th, at which point Nketiah and Willock can begin their post-season holiday.
