Dailycannon understands that Pauline Peyraud-Magnin’s rehab is going really well and she is likely to be fit for the World Cup this summer.

The France manager Corinne Diacre will name her squad live on French channel TF1 at 8pm on 2 May.

Pauline is likely to be in the final 23 players if she has recovered from the dislocated patella she suffered earlier this month when she gained her first France cap against Japan.

In addition, according to her social media posts and stories, her return to training has been successful. We saw videos of her running and also diving on mats. With Arsenal’s next and final league game against Manchester City scheduled in two weeks, there might be a small chance for her to come back into the squad for the title celebrations.

We still expect Sari van Veenendaal to be in goal against City for what could be her final game at the club.

She has lost her starting place this season and that has probably  cost her a World Cup starting place with the Netherlands.

A transfer for the Dutch keeper during the summer would not be a huge surprise.
