Arsenal have signed Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuela Zinsberger to replace the outgoing Saari van Veenendaal.
Manuela Zinsberger’s arrival marks the second player signed from the German club since the season ended so successfully for the women’s team and helps ready them for a return to Champions League football next season.
Jill Roord, a 22-year-old midfielder, joined us earlier in the week.
It had been rumoured for some time that Arsenal would sign three players from Bayern Munich this summer but Sara Dabritz, who was also expected to join Arsenal, opted for PSG in a change of heart.
Sportbuzzer reporting Bayern midfielder Sara Däbritz talked for a long time with @ArsenalWFC, but chose to move to PSG.
