Arsenal duo Beth Mead and Leah Williamson have been named in Phil Neville’s final England squad for this summer’s FIFA World Cup that will take place in France.
The pair were consistent performers in Arsenal’s title-winning season and certainly deserve their call-up. The only regret is that Jordan Nobbs misses out because of her knee injury.
Only two players (Dominique Bloodworth and Vivienne Miedema) played more minutes for Arsenal this season than Williamson.
