Russian outlet Nevasport report that Tottenham Hotspur, Inter Milan and Arsenal are all interested in buying Golovin this summer, just a year after the 22-year-old completed his €30m move to Monaco. Golovin’s agent, Sandor Varga, claims his client is on the shortlists of the Gunners and Spurs, who are expected to return with bids this summer.

Golovin was heavily linked with a move to Arsenal last summer, in the midst of all the hype surrounding his World Cup performances. Instead, he transferred from CSKA Moscow to Monaco, where he’s struggled to have an impact.

At the start of the season, Golovin was struggling with an injury, so he didn’t make his debut until late September. When he did eventually get onto the pitch, he only featured in one win in all competitions from then until February.

In total, the attacking midfielder made 33 appearances, scoring three goals and assisting three too. Whether his limited goalscoring contributions were down to his performances or Monaco being terrible as a team this campaign is up to Arsenal and the rest to figure out.
