The Europa League released their Team of the Week on Friday morning, and it was no surprise to see Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang included. Lacazette scored twice and Aubameyang assisted one and scored one as Arsenal came from behind to win on Thursday.

They weren’t the only players to make the team though. Both of Arsenal’s wing-backs were included, with Ainsley Maitland-Niles consistently driving forwards and taking players on to create chances, whilst Sead Kolasinac set up the crucial third goal on the night.

Meanwhile, Granit Xhaka got a place in the midfield after an assist of his own, one of a couple of great chances the Swiss midfielder made on the night. Here’s the full team:

Valencia’s Diakhaby was the only member of his side to make the team, after his early goal at the Emirates. Then four Chelsea outfielders and the Frankfurt goalkeeper completing the team says a lot about how that game went. Let’s hope for more Arsenal appearances in the side after the second leg.
