Watford will be without three players for Arsenal’s visit on Monday night but, sadly, one of them won’t be Troy Deeney.

That’s not to say the man with cajones for brains is a goal threat, Deeney has only ever scored two goals against Arsenal, but still, it would be nice not to have to look at his face.

Jose Holebas, who has three goals and six assists this season in the league, misses out after picking up a hamstring problem against Wolves in the FA Cup semi-final.

Domingos Quina injured his shoulder in training while Tom Cleverley remains out with a calf problem.

“The rest of the players, there are some of them with different pains, but we will see in the next days if they’re ready to compete against Arsenal,” manager Javi Garcia added.

“We have other players ready.

“In the last game you could see Adam Masina competing very well and in other games as well.

“I want all my players to be fit, but in this case we have other players ready, it’s not a problem.”

Watford have won their last five games at home while Arsenal have lost their last two at Vicarage Road.

In addition to that, Arsenal have won just nine of their last 34 league games away from home.
