Arsenal are reportedly set to send scouts to Tanzania in order to watch three Golden Eaglets with a view to signing them once they are ‘of age’.

Jeez, that sounds sleazy.

According to AllNigeriaSoccer Arsenal, along with Manchester City and Monaco are expected in Dar es Salaam to ‘closely monitor Nigeria U17 captain Samson Tijani, Akinkunmi Amoo and Olatomi Olaniyan.’

Tijani has been described as having a similar playing style to Paul Pogba and plies his trade at present for Collins Edwins Sports Club in Lagos.

Amoo is a midfielder who is comfortable playing as a winger while Olaniyan is said to remind those watching of Yaya Toure and as been described as the Eaglet’s ‘engine room’.

This isn’t the first time Arsenal have been linked with a move for the trio as we reported back in September.

It was also reported last year that Tijani had signed an agreement to join Club Brugge.

Clearly, somebody is wrong somewhere.
