Alexandre Lacazette provided his 10th assist of the campaign on Sunday, meaning he’s now reached double figures for goals and assists this season.

Across the entire season so far, Lacazette has 16 goals and 10 assists. He has 13 goals in the league, two in the Europa League and one in the EFL Cup, eight assists in the league, one in the Europa League and one in the FA Cup.

As well as that, the striker has directly forced two own goals, against West Ham United and Manchester United, and he’s won one penalty leading to a goal, also against Manchester United.

He hasn’t shied away from the big games either, with at least one goal contribution against Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, Liverpool and Napoli this season.

Aaron Ramsey reached double figures for goals and assists in 2017/18, and he won Arsenal’s Player of the Season award for it. That could well be the case against with Lacazette, as he’s up for the 2018/19 edition of the award.

Either way, it’s good to have him in the team, and if Unai Emery’s side can avoid any more calamitous defensive errors between now and the end of the season, the Frenchman’s partnership with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will hopefully help the Gunners back into the Champions League.
