Granit Xhaka was spotted training on his own as the midfielder battle to regain fitness ahead of Arsenal’s game against Everton on Sunday but he probably won’t make it according to reports.

Granit Xhaka picked up a thigh injury while on international duty with Switzerland. He missed Arsenal’s last game against Newcastle.

An update on Arsenal.com said the 26-year-old, who has the same number of league goals as Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey this season (4), said he was being assessed ahead of the game.

It does seem, however, as if the game could come too soon for him.
