Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has sent praise the way of Arsenal u18 striker Folarin Balogun, as the 17-year-old continues his fantastic season with the academy.
Balogun recently reached 30 goal contributions for the season with the academy, scoring 23 goals and assisting seven in 25 appearances.
As a result of his free-scoring form and Arsenal u18s’ push for the league title, Balogun is starting to garner some attention from the fans and the media. Arsenal recently interviewed the striker, where he admitted he was inspired by the way Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang plays.
The Gunners’ star forward responded on Twitter to show how impressed he is with the teenager:

Balogun also admitted in the most recent Arsenal programme that the player he looks up to most is Alexandre Lacazette, so he’s definitely learning from two of the best around at the moment.
With 19 goals in the u18 Premier League, Balogun is the top scorer in the South Division, but he has his sights set on 23-goal Everton star Ellis Simms, who is the top goalscorer in the North. Hopefully, the Arsenal man can catch Simms in the final weeks of the season, whilst simultaneously leading the young Gunners to the league title.
