Mohammed Abu Ismail of Emaratalyoum.com in Dubai reports that Al-Nasr Dubai SC will hold a press conference in the coming days to officially announce a friendly match against Arsenal on March 26th. The friendly will be the official opening of the Al Maktoum Stadium.

As yet, that information still hasn’t been confirmed by Arsenal, but all the signs suggest the club are at least set for a trip to Dubai later this month. Football.London report that the squad will jet off for a warm-weather training camp after the second leg of their Europa League tie against Stade Rennais FC.

The Gunners don’t have a match at the weekend, as their Premier League trip to face Wolves was rescheduled due to their hosts’ FA Cup quarter-final. As a result, anyone who hasn’t been called up to international duty will have the last two weeks of the month without any matches. Those players will be free to participate in the rumoured friendly.

That’s likely to include Alexandre Lacazette, Mesut Özil and Petr Cech, among others, though we’ll have to wait for every country to reveal their final squad list to know for sure.
