Arsenal are believed to be one of a number of clubs, including Tottenham, West Ham and Crystal Palace who are interested in signing Algerian international Said Benrahma this summer.

The player only arrived at Griffin Park last summer in a deal that cost the club £1.53m but it is a reflection of the impact he has made that they now feel they can get almost 20 times that when the window opens.

Since he landed in England, he has scored seven and assisted 12 in 28 Championship games with eight goals and 14 assists in 35 games across all competitions. Back in February, Algerian publication Le Buteur claimed both Arsenal and Chelsea were interested in the 23-year-old.

Solid stats for Said Benrahma

Nine goals and 12 assists in 32 Championship games are not to be sniffed at, especially when you consider it is his first season in England after moving from Nice.

Another goal in the EFL Cup along with a couple of FA Cup assists takes Benrahma’s tally to 10 goals and 14 assists in 39 games this season.

The right-winger is under contract until 2022 and currently has a market value of £3.15m.

He is one of a number of players Arsenal are reportedly considering ahead of what will be a busy summer.
