Reported Arsenal target is in talks with multiple Premier League clubs over a free transfer this summer, according to claims in the French media.

French outlet Paris United, who are generally pretty reliable for news concerning Paris Saint-German players, claim discussions are ongoing with Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City over a summer transfer.

Liverpool and Bayern Munich are also interested, whilst Barcelona aren’t out of the picture just yet after the midfielder almost joined them in January. Notably, Arsenal aren’t mentioned as a possibility, despite the links to three other Premier League clubs.

The Mirror previously claimed in an exclusive that Arsenal were ‘keeping tabs’ on Rabiot, who is set to leave Paris on a free transfer when his contract comes to an end this summer. They add that Unai Emery is a ‘big fan’ of the 23-year-old, and he’d like a reunion with his former player in North London.

However, reports inside the French capital seem to suggest the links are nothing more than the English media getting our hopes up for no reason, as usual.

Rabiot is currently being excluded by PSG, ever since he informed them of his decision not to sign a new contract. Nonetheless, he’s an excellent all-round midfielder with a strong physical presence, good passing, the ability to win the ball in the air and a good number of goal contributions for his position. We’ll see who ends up picking him up.
