Denis Suarez is pushing for his first start for Arsenal this weekend, after scoring another impressive goal in training.
Before the match against Manchester City, Suarez caught the eye with a great goal in training:

Unfortunately, by the time the Spaniard came on for his debut, the team had lost all momentum and he struggled to get on the ball. The circumstances certainly weren’t ideal to make an impression on the Arsenal supporters, and Suarez will be hoping for another chance to prove himself this weekend.
He’s certainly giving Unai Emery something to think about in training, scoring another great finish during shooting practice.

Of course, it’s one thing to do it in training, and another thing entirely to replicate that on the pitch at the weekend. However, these goals should give Suarez the confidence to pull off something similar if he finds himself in the same position against Huddersfield on Saturday.
With no one in the Arsenal squad nailing down the left-wing position, Suarez may well be next in line for an opportunity. We’ll see.
