Krystian Bielik held a Q&A on Polish TV recently, and he had to respond to one particularly harsh question about Arsenal teammate Shkodran Mustafi.

Bielik is currently on loan with League One side Charlton, and he made an appearance on Polish TV outlet TVP Sport recently. On the show, he answered questions from Polish fans, one of which was: “Would you be able to pack Shkodran Mustafi into a bag and take him to Kamchatka (a peninsula in the Russian Far East) to please the Arsenal fans?”

Thankfully, the 21-year-old didn’t say anything stupid in response, simply replying: “No, no I couldn’t, he’s a good player.”

It was a bit of a low blow by the station running the show, and a clear attempt to trick the Polish youngster into saying something he’d regret. Mustafi’s performances may not always have lived up to fan expectations, but he’s still a professional trying his best for his club. There’s no reason for his fellow teammates to embarrass him.

Bielik also answered a more serious question about Arsenal and the team’s chances of playing in the Champions League next season.

“They have a very good chance to win the Europa League,” Bielik responded. “But they can also be in the top four.”

Most bookmakers have The Gunners as the second favourite to win the Europa League this season, after Chelsea. With the way Maurizio Sarri’s side are falling apart at the moment though, Arsenal will back themselves to overcome their London rivals.

There are still a few other teams to worry about, with Napoli, Inter Milan and Unai Emery’s former club Sevilla still in the mix. It’s certainly a lot more open than in 2017/18 though. We’ll see how the round-of-32 matches against BATE Borisov go first.
