The two sides faced each other on Sunday and it was the perfect opportunity for Arsenal to get a look at both of them

Suso is a relatively new addition to the Arsenal rumour mill. The 25-year-old right winger has 22 Serie A appearances this season with five goals and eight assists. He is under contract until 2022.

Barella, however, has been linked with Arsenal before.

The 22-year-old Cagliari midfield star reportedly believes his style of play is better suited to the Premier League than Serie A, particularly as he loves to get physical and put in tackles regularly.

The player would reportedly cost around €45-50m despite only having one goal and one assist 21 Serie A appearances this season. He is under contract until 2022 after signing an extension in January 2018.

The report from Italy covering this story also stated that Ivan Perisic is still Arsenal’s main attacking target for the summer window.
