Nigeria caused quite a stir at the World Cup with their last kit coming in for plaudits from all corners of the globe.

Iwobi helped launch that kit as one of his country’s biggest footballing superstars.

The Nigerian Football Federation confirmed at the end of last week that the Arsenal forward will be invited to Nike to preview their new kit before it is released to the public.

Officials from Nigeria have already held meetings with Nike about extending their contract with the sports manufacturer.

The country’s Sports Minister, Solomon Dalung, as well as the NFF President Amaju Pinnick and second vice president Mallam Shehu Dikko, arrived for a series of meetings in London, the first of which took place on Thursday.
