Adrien Rabiot is a name that just won’t quit in connection with a move to Arsenal despite reported problems between him and Unai Emery.

Adrien Rabiot

Over the weekend Rabiot emerged as one of three main targets Emery reportedly wants to bring to the club this summer. That’s despite reports from France that the player dislikes Emery immensely for not using him in his preferred position.

Arsenal face competition for the 23-year-old who is out of contract in the summer, namely from Barcelona, although their interest has reportedly cooled recently.

Tottenham are also said to be interested and the Daily Star report that they were close to sealing a £20m deal for the player before his father died and the family put any transfer on hold.

Having spoke to Sylvain Jamet briefly about the player, he certainly seems more suited to a Spurs move than Arsenal.

In other words, Rabiot seems like a giant knob, causing problems regularly because he thinks he’s better than he actually is.
