Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has sent encouragement to Marvin Ducksch at Fortuna Dusseldorf who has recently lost his place in the starting lineup of his side and hasn’t scored since October.

The pair were teammates at Dortmund and Aubameyang sent him a message saying, “Keep on doing your thing, do not be fooled.” The German publication, Kicker, then mentions something about the pair meeting up in London in the summer but “until then Ducksch wants to prove to Fortuna that he still has what it takes to survive in the Bundesliga.”

Ducksch arrived at Dusseldorf in the summer from FC St. Pauli at a cost of £1.8m and has yet to find the net in the Bundelisga for his new side in 10 league appearances. In total, he has three goals and one assist in 12 appearances, totaling just 741 minutes.
