Arsenal crashed out of the FA Cup against Manchester United and few people could have any complaints.
Painful

Although United were not significantly better than the Gunners on the night, injuries to Sokratis and then Laurent Koscielny completely killed Arsenal and Solskjaer’s men pounced.
So how did the players do individually?
Defence

Petr Cech 4.5
For his last ever FA Cup game, Petr Cech was probably hoping he would play in the final. That he won’t is largely down to his own performance. Although he looked marginally better with his feet, he is clearly not comfortable. Arsenal fans could rightly ask why he didn’t make it more difficult for Alexis for their first, and why Lingard made a mug of him so easily for their third.
Sead Kolasinac 5
Is he a winger? A defender? He’s not dangerous enough to be the former and he’s too careless to be the latter, so what, exactly, is he?
Laurent Koscielny 5.5
At least he didn’t kick himself in the face. It looked very much like a broken jaw for the Arsenal captain and if that’s the case, we’re looking at two months on the sidelines, nine games after returning from 199 days out (21 games).
Sokratis NA
That Arsenal conceded twice within 12 minutes of him going off with a twisted ankle tells you all you really need to know.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles 4.5
Never really looked comfortable covering for Hector Bellerin although he managed four tackles (an Arsenal defender high along with Sead Kolasinac), two interceptions and two clearances. He gave the ball away carelessly in dangerous positions around the edge of the Arsenal box a number of times.
Midfield

Granit Xhaka 5
Started the game with a delightful cross-field pass that was to be his game highlight. Dropped back down into centreback when Kos was injured and we all know how that goes. Hopefully, Sokratis’s ankle injury isn’t too bad and we don’t have to do this again.
Lucas Torreira 5
He’s knackered and it shows.
Aaron Ramsey 6
Arsenal’s best midfielder, even he drifted from the game when United scored their third and Arsenal just gave up.
Forwards

Alex Iwobi 5
Perhaps Arsenal’s most lively player who, at one point, nutmegged Ashley Young in front of the United supporters, but his final pass is still rushed/panicky and a more seasoned winger would have done real damage with the amount of possession Iwobi had down United’s left.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang 5.5
Scored and worked at helping the team out defensively but Arsenal needed more from him in the final third.
Alexandre Lacazette 7

Did anyone work harder in the Arsenal side than the Frenchman? No other Arsenal player made as many tackles (5, same as Torreira) and only Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic made more (6 each). There was also an interception and a clearance to bulk up his defensive stats. Of course, when he’s having to do that much work defensively you’re going to lose a lot at the end he’s supposed to be operating in, but you can hardly say that’s his fault.
Arsenal’s MOTM by a distance.
Subs

Shkodran Mustafi 5
When he dies, his headstone will read ‘he really didn’t need to go to ground.’
Mesut Ozil 5
Has never been an impact sub, will never be an impact sub. Play him from the start and let him dictate the pace from then, don’t ask him to come into the game after 64 minutes and change it when his confidence has been battered for six months.
Matteo Guendouzi 5
He’s keen and energetic. He gets on the ball lots. Next up for him is to learn how to use it better.
