Arsenal are set to face West Ham United at the London Stadium in the early kickoff on Saturday, and the Premier League have confirmed the kit they’ll be wearing for the clash.

The Premier League tweeted out from their official account to confirm that Arsenal would be wearing their mint green third kit for the trip to West Ham.

The red and white home kit was too close in colour to West Ham’s home kit, and the same goes for the blue away kit, so it’s no real surprise to see the green one in use.

Arsenal’s fortunes in green this season have been mixed, to say the least. The Gunners managed one win against AFC Bournemouth, but they drew with Crystal Palace and Manchester United. Then they lost to Southampton before most recently capitulating at Anfield.

The blue kit has had a lot more success, with two wins and a draw so far. The Gunners have scored nine goals and conceded two in blue. Then again, they were easier matches, against Fulham, Blackpool and Brighton.

Let’s hope Arsenal will get the green kit its second victory this weekend.
