Arsenal are increasing their interest in PSV winger Hirving Lozano, with the possibility of a €30m summer move on the cards, according to reports in Italy.

TuttoMercatoWeb write that Napoli are still leading the chase for Lozano as it stands. However, PSV remain adamant that they won’t sell the winger in the winter window for less than €40m. If a club wants to sign the Mexican international for any less than that, they’ll have to wait until the summer, which could bring Arsenal back into the equation.

TMW claim Arsenal have ‘increased interest’ in Lozano in recent weeks, and are ‘more and more insistent’ in their pursuit of the player. Chelsea and Barcelona are also still following the situation, to a lesser extent.

According to the report, PSV ‘could settle’ for €30-32m with bonuses in the summer.

Lozano is continuing to have an impressive season in the Netherlands, with 11 goals and eight assists in 17 league matches. He also scored four goals and assisted one in the Champions League and Champions League qualifying, including scoring against Tottenham Hotspur.

Overall, he has 15 goals and nine assists in 27 appearances, or one goal contribution every 92 minutes. If he could transfer that sort of form to one of Europe’s top five leagues, he would make a great winger. We’ll have to wait and see where he ends up this summer.
